Raashi Khanna is an Indian actress and model who plays mainly in the Telugu film industry. She made her debut as an actress with the Hindi film Madras Cafe and made her Telugu debut with the hit Oohalu Gusagusalade (2014).
She followed with a cameo appearance in Manam (2014). Later, she appeared in commercially successful films such as Bengal Tiger (2015), Supreme (2016), Jai Lava Kusa (2017) and Tholi Prema (2018).
Khanna debuted with the Indian political espionage thriller movie Madras Café in 2013 where she played the role of Ruby Singh, the wife of an Indian intelligence officer Vikram Singh portrayed by John Abraham who was also the producer . She had to attend theater workshops before taking the role. The film – especially the story and the direction – impressed most Indian critics. In reviewing the film, NDTV’s Saibal Chatterjee said that Khanna “has an impact in a brief but significant appearance”.
